With the uncertainty that still exists around, “what’s next”, COVID, flu season, war, threats, politics, and how we work, leaders are looking, more and more, to coaches for a dependable, reliable, impartial, skill enhancing, confidential relationship that can form part of their personal Board of Directors.
Working on building a real team requires that team members get to know more about each other and the faster, the better… Using assessments to create a view like this, makes it easier for everyone to understand and adapt to everyone else on the team, improve together and do it more quickly than a year's worth of "water cooler" chats!
Earlier this week I spoke with a potential High Performance Leadership and Team Development group member and we were talking about productivity and he used the term Brain Fog.
I thought that was a great term for what I was feeling earlier in the week. I also know that my Brain Fog has come and gone over the last many months.
I just realized that it is 13 months today that I had my culminating Round 3 event! Surgery!
I have to admit that post surgery, and I mean after getting all foreign objects removed (drainage, pacemaker wires, IV’s etc.), recovery was pretty straightforward - didn’t think that would be the case even though I worked hard to make it the case!
