With the uncertainty that still exists around, “what’s next”, COVID, flu season, war, threats, politics, and how we work, leaders are looking, more and more, to coaches for a dependable, reliable, impartial, skill enhancing, confidential relationship that can form part of their personal Board of Directors.
I just realized that it is 13 months today that I had my culminating Round 3 event! Surgery!
I have to admit that post surgery, and I mean after getting all foreign objects removed (drainage, pacemaker wires, IV’s etc.), recovery was pretty straightforward - didn’t think that would be the case even though I worked hard to make it the case!
Well it’s more than 5 weeks post surgery and almost 5 weeks at home!
Things are starting to get back to being more “normal”. Some of the early meds to help recovery are done. Incisions are all healed and fading. My chest is feeling stronger - not ready for pushing or pulling yet but able to handle smaller tasks. Closing a snap lid food container is getting easier (who would have thought that would have been a healing challenge!?)
